  • Two Brothers

A 5 star movie, definitely a must-watch. I’m sure I’ll be watching it again in the near future.

Good for kids too. Mind you, it’s not those typical cute-little-fluffy-animals+happy-ending disney type of movie. It IS sad, it IS disturbing, and it reflects the brutal truth, which kids have to learn. Leaves everybody thinking what human beings have done to the world. I almost cried watching the cubs’ mom being shot right before their eyes, although I expected this to happen already. Those poor little fellas just stared at her dead body not knowing what to do.

And the more I watch these sort of movies which reminds us again and again of the cruel reality, the more I HATE this creature/beast known as HUMAN BEINGS. We got the brains, so what? Are we utilizing them properly? 90% of the time no. I admit it. Right now I’m supposed to be studying yet I’m typing this very ¼«¥@ entry.

I hated the Moscow circus when I was a kid, when my mom brought me to watch their performance in HK, I felt hugely disgusted seeing all those “performers”… poor old lions, tigers, elephants, orangutans, all skin and bones, doing stupid tricks which were against their nature. I always wondered how interesting it is to watch elephants walking tightrope or tigers jumping “fire rings”. Therefore I’ve always hated circuses (or is the plural curci?). Let’s hope Ocean park treats their dolphins with respect: at least they look well-fed.

And I never understood why people have to hunt?! If it’s for food, then fine, we all need to survive, and carnivores eating herbivores eating plants eating carnivore carcasses is afterall the circle of life; but hey, if it’s not for food, then what’s the point? I don’t find it dignifying hanging the epitheleum of an animal carcass on your wall, just to show people that you’ve shot a creature who didn’t even have the intention to touch your hair.

Why despise men who killed men but honour men who killed lions/tigers/leopards/elephants?

    What a joke.
